Terms and Conditions 

 

1.⁠ ⁠General
These general terms and conditions apply to all travel services provided by MANGO Explore Beyond, based in Sri Lanka. By booking, the customer accepts these terms and conditions.

2.⁠ ⁠Booking and Payment
A booking is considered confirmed once a deposit (usually 20%) has been paid. The remaining amount is due within two days of arrival in Sri Lanka. Other payment options can be agreed upon.

3.⁠ ⁠Conclusion of Contract
The trip is considered binding upon signature or deposit.

4.⁠ ⁠Hotel Bookings
MANGO Explore Beyond will, upon request, provide the customer with suggestions for accommodations of various categories along the itinerary. The customer can either book independently or, if desired, arrange for us to make the booking. In this case, the hotel booking will be made in the customer's name and at the customer's expense. Disclaimer: MANGO Explore Beyond (PVT) LTD assumes no liability for defects, service quality, or cancellation policies of the hotels. Complaints must be reported immediately to the hotel on site and also to us. Later claims are excluded.

5.⁠ ⁠Cancellation Policy
Up to 30 days before departure: free of charge
29–15 days: 20% of the total price
14–7 days: 50% of the total price
Under 7 days / No-show: 100% of the total price / No refund
Cancellations must be submitted in writing within the deadline by email to team@exploremango.com.

6.⁠ ⁠Changes by the Customer
MANGO Explore Beyond will endeavor to implement requested changes, but does not provide any guarantees.

7.⁠ ⁠Changes by the Organizer
In the event of unforeseeable circumstances (e.g., weather, availability), we reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary or cancel the trip. Equivalent alternatives will be sought.

8.⁠ ⁠Liability & Insurance
We are not liable for third-party services (e.g., safaris, accommodations) over which we have no direct control. Travel insurance is recommended. The company is not liable for loss, illness, accident, injury, delay, or theft.

9.⁠ ⁠Health & Responsibility
The customer is responsible for their own health and fitness to travel. Local regulations must be observed.

10.⁠ ⁠Visa & Entry
The customer is responsible for obtaining valid travel documents and visas.

11.⁠ ⁠Data Protection
Personal data will only be used for travel arrangements and will be treated confidentially.

12.⁠ ⁠Photos & Media
Photos/videos taken during the trip may be used for marketing purposes unless otherwise requested.

13.⁠ ⁠Place of Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution
Sri Lankan law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Colombo. Note for EU customers: The EU Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
We are not obligated to participate in arbitration proceedings.

14.⁠ ⁠Cancellation
There is no statutory right of cancellation, as these are individual travel services.
We voluntarily grant a 48-hour right of cancellation after booking, provided no service has yet been arranged.
